Navigating the romantic city of Venice is not a straight forward affair, it was built to be confusing. Not only is the velocipede impractical but it is illegal, and traipsing up and down bridges becomes monotonous. For full enjoyment of this trip, a water going vessel is essential. But how to build such a device? Thanks to the wonders of the Internet we were lucky enough to find a traditional recipe, passed down the generations through word of mouth, and like soda bread, no two batches are the same and recipes are open to interpretation. In the old days people would have prized horseshit, and sticks for their marine qualities. Sadly we do not have a ready supply of these traditional materials and have had to substitute some ingredients.
